Terms of Service

Short version: No Sugar is a personal wellness habit tracker. The core habit loop is free. No Sugar Pro adds optional paid digital features such as cloud sync, advanced insights, weekly recap details, and controlled AI-generated coaching. The app is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using No Sugar, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Who can use No Sugar

You must be at least 13 years old to use No Sugar. If you are between 13 and 18, you confirm that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Wellness tool, not medical advice

Important: No Sugar helps you log and reflect on sugar-related habits. It is not a medical app, medical device, diagnosis tool, or treatment plan.

All body timeline, insight, SOS, and coaching content is for general wellness information.
AI-generated coaching may be imperfect and should not be treated as medical, nutritional, or mental health advice.
If you have diabetes, an eating disorder, pregnancy-related concerns, or any medical condition affected by sugar intake, consult a qualified healthcare professional before changing your diet.

4. Free features and No Sugar Pro

The free app includes daily check-ins, streak tracking, calendar, basic stats, basic SOS tools, reminders, achievements, data export, and account deletion controls.

No Sugar Pro is optional and unlocks paid digital features, which may include cloud backup and sync, advanced slip pattern insights, weekly recap details, and controlled AI-generated coaching nudges based on your logged patterns.

5. Purchases, subscriptions, and refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and may be managed through your store account.
Subscription plans renew automatically unless cancelled according to Apple or Google billing rules.
Lifetime or founder offers, if available, unlock the paid digital features described at purchase time.
Prices, trial availability, and included Pro features are shown before purchase.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies.

6. Your account and data

You can use No Sugar without an account. If you create an account for cloud backup and sync, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. See the Privacy Policy for details on storage, sync, AI processing, analytics, purchases, export, and deletion.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app or its services. This includes attempting to access another user's data, overload backend services, bypass purchase checks, reverse engineer protected parts of the app, or use the app in violation of law.

8. Intellectual property

The No Sugar app, Sprout mascot, design, text, and original content are owned by Praveen Kumar S. or licensed to No Sugar. You may not copy or commercially exploit them without permission.

9. Availability and changes

We may update, improve, pause, or discontinue parts of the app. We aim to keep data export and account deletion available where technically possible.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

No Sugar is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that app content will fit your specific health situation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app.

11. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse backend services.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. The last updated date above reflects the current version.
